Disappointment for Hogmaneigh at Windsor
Hogmaneigh finished 8th at Windsor this afternoon in the Totequadpot Heritage Handicap, with 6 year old Tamagin coming out on top in what was a very strong sprint.
Stuart William's charge never recovered from an awkward start from stall 4 and found the good to firm ground challenging.
Hogmaneigh just couldn't get close to the leaders and finished down the pecking order.
Stuart said after the race, "I'm disappointed with the result this afternoon, but Hogmaneigh was slightly lame after Epsom so I was happy that he got home ok after not training properly for a couple of weeks. We'll now pick ourselves up and look forward to the next race".
