Hogmaneigh set for Gold Cup Comeback
Hogmaneigh looks set to make a sensational comeback in the prestigious Ayr Gold Cup next month.
The Scottish owned sprinter has been entered for the 6 furlong race on the 19th of September, but hasn't raced since coming 8th at Windsor on the 28th of June.
Since then Hogmaneigh has changed trainers and is now based at Jim Goldie's yard in Ayrshire.
With £150,000 in prize money the William Hill Ayr Gold Cup is the richest sprint handicap in Europe, which Hogmaneigh has featured in twice before under former trainer Stuart Williams.
Over the next few weeks we'll have all the build up to the big race right here on hogmaneigh.com.
