Hogmaneigh retired for the season before Doncaster trip
Hogmaneigh has been pulled out of the coral.co.uk handicap at Doncaster on Saturday and has been retired for the season due to stiff legs following training.
The decision was made this morning by trainer Jim Goldie at his Ayrshire yard following consultation with the vet.
This brings to an end an eventful season for Hogmaneigh, who has failed to win a race but has moved from Stuart William's yard in Newmarket to Goldie's facility north of the border.
Over the winter months we'll bring you exclusive photos of Hogmaneigh preparing for the new 2010 season but he'll now be taking a well deserved break until January.
