Hogmaneigh will kick-off his new season at Musselburgh on Saturday in the totescoop6 Scottish Sprint Cup Handicap.

Jim Goldie has decided to run his sprinter in the five furlong sprint at Musselburgh instead of The Dash at Espom, which Hogmaneigh won in 2007.

The experienced Saleem Gollam will be reunited with Hogamenigh for the first time since the Totequadpot Heritage Handicap at Windsor last June, having won on him at Epsom and in the Portland Handicap in 2008.

The race is at 3.40pm live on Channel 4 and we'll have the result from Musselburgh here at hogmaneigh.com on Saturday afternoon.
